Hi, Im wondering if you could tell me name of a horror drama that was on tv in either the 60's or 70's. It was about a boy living in a house on the moors or some remote place. He was alone
in his bedroom and did drawings that came to life. i remember they were mostly huge rocks like standing stones and they seemed to move closer to the house each night. when he tried
scribbling over the drawings in his book he ended up with bars on his bedroom window. A fascinating and scary drama and im sure i read it as a book too.
Hoping you can help.

I was wondering if anyone remembers a BBC TV Series called "Cover Up" from Sept 1984-April 1985. There were 22 Episodes and i would love to find out if they are available as i would like to
buy them. It was an American series starring the late Jon Erik Hexum and was such a great series. The theme music was Holding Out For A Hero.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello. I am looking for the name of a itv/channel schools program dating from the mid 80's. In the opening sequence small children would walk down a busy street and stick star shaped
stickers on various things like telephone or even post boxes. On the stickers was the name of the program. Also a feature on this tv program was Dr. Smartie Pants played by children's author Micheal Rosen. He would claim to know everything like how to drink a glass of milk. But he always mess it up... Very funny.

I know it might sound daft, but a piece of 2/3 year old tv advert music is driving us mad not knowing it's title or availability, and to make it worse, we can't remember who it was for. The
music has been used for other TV bits and pieces, so must be available ??? The only info we can give you in the hope it might jog the old memory is the following: It appeared to be made in a
sunny city, with busy street scene and large office blocks etc, and maybe in Spain, we would imagine. There is a police-woman standing on box, directing busy traffic, and the back ground
music is a type of lovely backing group, with a prominent female singer. The few words song are "Who Are You " then something like DADA DADA DOO "Who Are You " etc etc. The police- woman's
uniform is not a British type, so as said, maybe Spanish. To finish, other searches came up with the Who's " Who Are You ", but is nothing to do with this search. We know it's not alot to go
on, but if you can help in the song title/artist, and/or advert name, we would be very grateful. |

Hi
I'm wondering if anyone can help me find episodes of "Flockton Flyer",
of which there were two series of 6 episodes made by Southern TV and
first transmitted in 1977 and 1978.
I am particularly interested in episodes 2, 3 and 4 of the second
series; I appear as an extra - definitely in episode 2 and again either
in 3 or 4.
The programmes were aired by The Children's Channel on satellite in the
early 1990's. There appears to be no commercial release of a VHS or DVD
so far.
I was Operating Superintendent of the West Somerset Railway back during
the period when the Southern TV crew were on the line, which was the
main location for filming.
Thanks in advance

I have strong memories of a TV programme I watched in the seventies that no-one else seems to remember!!
I think a family moved/lived in a big house and was give a music box/or drum when played or opened would play African drums and they would be transported back in time to when another family
lived there with servants 100 years or more in the past, the servants were African.
Did this programme exist or is it just my overactive imagination.
Hope you can help.

can anyone help me
in the early to mid nineteen seventies i was spell bound to watch possibly a granada or a bbc north broadcast of a story telling the tale of a newly wed professional couple who had bought
this really old cottage in the countryside - they had to widen the gate to get stuff through it so they knocked down a part of the old garden wall to find lying in the rubble the shrouded
mummified body of a human baby - they took the body into the house and from then on all sorts of scary stuff started to carry on - after a few days the wife heard a noise from down stairs at
the dead of night and went to investigate to find the heavily shrouded growling mother of the child cradling her baby and swaying to and fro in their own rocking chair - it scared the
living daylights out of me and i've been searching for it ever since - if you can help me out i would be very grateful

Any episode will do from this series as me and a friend cannot for the life of us remember the name of the programme, but are totally convinced we did not make it up :)
What we can remember of it it that was set under a bed and included characters such as a hot water bottle, who, I might add, walked in a very creepy manner! and also who I remember
to be a girl, an elephant, a talking accordian and my friend also remembers a toy truck.
Our guess to the years that it was broadcast but have been around 93-94, but we cannot be totally sure.
If you could get back to us with any information, and (possibly) an episode we would greatly appreciate it!!
Thanks!!!

Hello,
I'm wondering if you can help me find the name of a children's drama shown in the early 90's.
I remember there were a couple of children who kicked a football into a neglected church and broke a window. They ventured inside to retrieve it, and whenever they touched a pillar or wall,
there would be a simultaneous shot of their finger-marks appearing in a rock in a field in another world.
I also remember a black knight who appeared in the 'other' world. I know it's not much to go on but it's all I can remember. This has been bugging me for ages!

Hi there,
I wonder if you can help me.
I remember watching a programme when I was little, it was either in the late 70's or early 80's and all I can recall is there were some well to do children in a house and the eldest girl is
given a little music box but every time she opens it and the tune starts to play a soldier from a picture on the wall comes to life and strange things start happening.
I remember in one scene the kids are screaming because blood is dripping down from the ceiling! I remember that at the end something good happens (I cant remember what) I think it was to do
with the soldier in the picture as he starts to fade away out of the painting.
It really terrified me at the time and I would love to know if anyone remembers it and if so, what it was called.
Many thanks for your help

I am trying to find out the name of a series i saw possibly mid 90s, not overly sure.
It started of with the main characters all getting on a train, as well as a scientist. As they are travelling along they go into a tunnel, whilst they are in there a meteor hits earth
killing most of the earths population. The people in the train are frozen by whatever the scientist was carrying with him for twenty or so years. When they finally awaken they find the world
repairing itself, cities overgrown with plant life and wild animals roaming around.
So do you have any clue what this programme was called or where i might get it?

The Lost Islands was made in Australia, and shown in Britain on ITV in 1976/7. Two series were made, 13 episodes in each. Shown only once
here, it was a major hit on French television where it was often repeated. The entire series was released on DVD, Region 2, in France 2 years ago. Amazon.fr
All episodes are available with either original English soundtrack or option French dub. I bought it 2 years ago and my 10 year old daughter loves it – so much better than the drivel
that makes up childrens ITV programming today. |

Hello,
I am looking for an old twilight zone episode (or one of those other shows) about not
being able to find items that you had a minute ago. The story shows a group of men (dressed in blue?) that build each new “minute”. Sometimes they forget to put an item in the next minute
and therefore you can’t find it. When the “men” find the item and replace it in the next minute, you find your item.
I have to find a copy of this.
Thanks.
Laura Kies Hi,
I am looking for an episode, of course.
The show is about "blue men" behind an "invisible line" that "makes" time change, and how the people in everyday time don't know the blue men are there. The total environment was like the
60's, sterile, clean, June Cleaver like. Except for one time, when the blue men were spotted by the everyday people, specifically when they saw the blue men change the location of a drink
glass due to time, or the location of the clock time due to time. (and no, I am a normal person!) I saw the show on TV, in the 80's(?), I thought on Amazing Stories, or maybe Twilight Zone?
But I can't seem to find the episode, it was only a half hour show, to my thinking.
Any help would be wonderful!
Thanks,
Sylvie

I know exactly what you're talking about, but I too can't remember what it was called. This guy suddenly wakes up one morning and finds a bunch of guys all over
his house dressed in blue, carrying blue tools and moving things. He finds out that he has stumbled into an alternate universe where all this work goes into making every second of our
lives. He befriends one of the blue people, who tell him that sometimes the blue people make a mistake, and that is why we sometimes can't find that set of keys that we're sure we left on
the kitchen counter! Eventually he makes his way back to his regular universe, and I seem to remember him being on the street but he notices a little blue hammer left on the sidewalk. I
think this was part of the same series where another episode that was absolutely stunning, involved a hapless guy where the english language around him is slowly changing into a language
that uses english words but substituting totally nonsensical words for what used to be the right word. For example when he has become totally lost and can't understand his wife or kids
anymore, one of his kids gets hurt and he has to go to the hospital, and instead of the word Hospital on the building, it says something like "Elephant". Bewildered, he goes home and picks
up his kid's grade one reader and begins to learn the language all over again. It's a stunning show. Anyone who knows the series please let us know!

Stigma |
Hi
I've been trying to find out more about a television play, a single episode, which I believe must have been aired in the early to mid seventies. My memory of it
has been triggered by the wonderful MR James ghost stories being broadcast again this week.
The one I would like to know about was a contemporary ghost story and involved a young couple digging something up in their garden which was linked to
witchcraft. A scene that I remember most vividly was that the wife (I think this was the case rather, than the husband) developed a wound in her side that appeared spontaneously and would
not stop bleeding. In addition, there was a chilling scene where the husband enters the kitchen and as the neon light flickers on, a knife comes to rest on a chopping board - something has
been inexplicably using it. There was also an instance of groundbreaking "daylight horror" where the husband sees terrifying wooden effigies appear in the garden, and I think also wakes to
see one hovering above him in the bed. My recollection is that the wife bleeds to death in the end, the inference being that the witch killed in the garden also died in the same way.
I would be very grateful if anyone out there can recall any details about this play.
Kind regards
Roderick Gordon

Out Of This World |
Hi! My friends and I are wondering if you could help us. We can remember an old TV programme but we cant remember the name. The theme tune to it is swinging on a
star. The main girl in it spoke to her dad through a big crystal beside her bed. Also she could freeze time by joining her fingers together! I would be glad if you could help me!

Hi
I am trying to remember the name of a Childers TV drama from the late 70's about a boy & a girl who find the skeleton of a
solider ( possibly the duke of Wellington ) in a boarded up room or may be the attic of a house? do you know of such a series ?
Thanks for any help you can give

Response:
This is the 6 part TV series The Clifton House Mystery. Its a very
enjoyable story revolving around a composer & his family moving into a new
home & discovering that its haunted. Originally shown in 1978 & repeated in
the early 90's on The Childrens Channel.
